Self-Discipline, Faith, and Civility Promote a Civil Society and Lawyer Professionalism

Justice (Fmr) Douglas Lang's presentation is focused upon the imperatives that Catholic lawyers assiduously adhere to the Word of the Lord and the Law, including the strictures of legal ethics, professionalism, and all secular law. He will discuss how the principles of those imperatives are not only compatible, they are inextricably intertwined. Together, they compel lawyers to treat others civilly and with respect and dignity. 

We are applying for 1 hour of ethics CLE credit for this talk. Also, the St. Thomas More Society will be presenting The Honorable Douglas S. Lang with the William Roper Award at the meeting.
